ACCEPT boxing for what it has now become: an entertainment entity more than a sport. Sure, there are great fights that can be made, but very few will generate the hype that surrounded Jake Paul’s match against Nate Diaz.

The days of fighters earning their place at the upper echelon of the sport based mostly on merit is, we fear, over. The priority, as with almost everything in 2023, is how they are marketed. And when it comes to that, no one does it better than Jake Paul.
