“We contracted an organisation called Conservation Development Consultants (CDC) to oversee the development of the [Maasai Mara National Reserve Management] Plan. They had already developed a planning framework that was, and still is, being used in Management Plans in KWS and conservancies. It was very inclusive and, at times, involved all stakeholders in the Mara.
