Geographically speaking, Wights Mountain, near the Samford Valley northwest of Brisbane, is a long way from Africa, but its subtropical climate must jog some memories.

For Taryn, those memories are of the vast spaces and wonderfully designed gardens that were part of the family homes in her native Africa. She remembers her grandparents, who were award-winning orchid growers, beavering away in their gardens, creating beautiful landscapes for all to enjoy.
