Victims of domestic violence will soon be able to apply for protection orders online if a pilot project by the Department of Justice is successful.

Gauteng and the Western Cape are the provinces participating in the project and there are plans to include KwaZulu-Natal soon.

The project began last month in the Booysens and Mitchells
