Dyeing Dreamscapes of Derbyshire

CARRIE WARR is the master colourist behind Peak District Yarns, and her uniquely dyed colourways reflect the landscapes, villages and historic houses found in the Peak District. From the seasonal tones of wild heather moorlands, to vibrant variations in floral foliage seen on village well dressings, we discuss the inspiration behind Carrie’s work, and how she encourages a community of fellow yarn dyers through workshops at her studio in the Derbyshire village of Tideswell.
