New interactive map could ease plot-hunting process

Self-build coaching and consultancy firm ProtaHOMES has launched a brand-new online tool to help prospective self-builders identify potential sites for constructing their dream home. The Custom Build Map tracks the number of developments and plots being brought forward throughout the UK, allowing users to click on specific schemes to view location, plot availability and build criteria details.

The interactive map features five colour-coded listing types that show whether the development is offering fully flexible serviced plots, serviced plots with a nominated designer, Golden Brick serviced plots where the developer builds the foundations, shell homes where the homeowners completes the internal fit-out, and
