old bag, new tricks

We all know florals in spring aren’t ground-breaking, but one of the perks of the Great Spring Clean is finding all sorts of long-forgotten goodies stashed away that are crying out for some lovin’. This DIY is a simple but effective way to add colour and cuteness to any thrifted, regifted or pre-loved purse in your stash.

MATERIALS

- a purse or bag you want to jazz up- 10-count plastic mesh canvas (this means you- 8-ply yarn in four different colours (scraps will do – this project doesn’t use much)- sturdy scissors to cut through the canvas- size 18 tapestry needle- hot glue gun
