01 PACE IT OUT

Go out too fast and you’ll swiftly pay for it on the mountain climbs. “Riding at altitude is all about pacing,” says). “If you’re riding high above sea level, it normally means there’s going to be a long climb. I notice with lots of our guests, especially if they’ve come from a lot of indoor sessions, that they ride far too hard at the start. But once their pacing improves, they start to produce a more efficient climbing speed.”
