In the Aurora Arts District, what’s billed as the country’s only chocolate art, whose name fans of Netflix’s should recognize. His appearance on the competition show launched Chef Gonzo (as Jimenez is known) into celebrity status, showcasing his whimsical creations and technical skills to a wide audience of chocolate lovers. Often influenced by nature and oriented in design, Gonzo creates his works by molding, sculpting, and hand-carving chocolate, which he then paints with cocoa butter dyes applied with an airbrush.
