IN March, the Magazine Publisher's Association (MPA) raised the issue of NZ Post's pending bulk mail increases with the Government and its pending impact on magazine publishers and other related parties. The MPA's letter did not open any meaningful dialogue and was largely ignored by members of parliament on both sides of the bench. Again, we find this unacceptable.
Subsequently, the MPA board became part of a wider network of concerned businesses, community groups and charities to create a more concerted effort to implore the Government to act as overseers
