The creation of the Ninja Turtles
The Ninja Turtles first burst onto the scene in May 1984 as a comic book created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Inspired by their love for martial arts and comic books, they introduced the world to four awesome turtles: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.
