Coffee with a heart

I visited sustainable roasters Chimney Fire Coffee at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey to see their process in action. Head roaster Elizabeth Furth, who has 10 years’ experience (and is one of only a few female roasters in the business), showed us how the green beans transform with heat to become nut-brown and aromatic.. The brand is also stocked in many restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
