In 2005, stay-at-home mum Nicole Morris was watching a documentary about missing woman Susan Isenhood when she decided to take action.

Discovering there was no official Australia-wide register for missing people, she decided to create one herself.

“I’m not the kind of person to sit back and say that someone else will do that,” she tells Woman’s Day.
