he design was the work of William Hawthorn Holland and his coachworks were based in Govan, Glasgow in the early thirties. His best known teardrop design created a lot of interest at the Commercial Motor Show at Olympia in November 1933. Several body builders were granted licences to produce these designs including S H Bond of Rusholme in Manchester and Robsons of Faringdon Road, London EC1.
