Whose idea was it to walk from the Winterberg to Table Mountain?
Scott: The catalyst was a two-week motorcycle tour in and around Namibia that I did in 2016 with Ammie's cousin and a friend of his who'd ridden their bikes through Africa from London. I met up with them for the last leg of their journey. Long story short, the whole adventure absolutely rattled me –physically, emotionally and mentally. It affected me so much that I wanted to do something exceptional, or rather, something different, that could include Ammie and the kids.
