THE POTHOLE RALLY

The right-hand side of Australia has been under water for much of the last two years and our roads are as wrinkly as our waterlogged fingers. Tarmac has vanished at alarming rates and councils are hard-pressed to keep up. It is a particular problem in the bush, where roads are long and ratepayers few.
