RSS expands its operations

RAILWAY Support Services (RSS) has won a contract to supply a shunter to Hitachi at Craigentinny and begun a trial with Imerys at Goonbarrow in Cornwall.

The impending change at the former was signalled on May 24, with the arrival of No. 08480 at the Edinburgh maintenance facility, the Class 08 having departed from its reserve role at Lindsey oil refinery the previous day.
