I was born in Queensland and spent the early years of my life in the outback until my teens, when we moved to Ormiston, south of Brisbane. I met my husband, who was in the army, and didn’t realise that there would be a lot of travel. I have lived in most States of Australia and the best part was the Northern Territory where I got a lot of my inspiration from. I have two adult children, a son and a daughter who lives in Sydney.
After 20 years of travel, my husband said goodbye to the army. We went back to Townsville but the heat was affecting my husband so we moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2005, but in Jan 2006 tragedy struck my family as my husband was admitted to hospital seriously
