WHEN welterweight contender Jaron “Boots” Ennis knocked out Roiman Villa in the 10th round of a scheduled 12-rounder, the Philadelphian threw back his head and screamed into the heavens. Boots had confirmed what many had long believed—he is indeed a special fighter. When super tough Villa went down for the count the capacity crowd inside the ballroom of Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall celebrated like New Year’s Eve in Times Square.
