Ant repellent
In response to Elizabeth Savage (OrganicNZ May/Jun 23), I wish to offer a totally non-toxic solution to ant invasion problems.
• Get hold of Camphora homeopathic pillules from Simillimum Homeopathic Pharmacy in Wellington in 30˚C potency.• Dissolve 10 pillules in 300ml clean water (takes about ½ hour).• Hit the container of water with the dissolved pillules onto a book ten times to activate the solution (repeat this process before any re-application of the solution).• Locate area where ants are entering the house and spray as much of the ants• Repeat that process another 2-3 times and you will notice that the ants don’t like it and stay away. It does not kill the ants but they don’t like it and stay outdoors around their nests.
