How to be present and mindful on holiday

Like Chloe Gosiewski, Karin Peeters extols the virtues of planning for a holiday. ‘But I also make sure that there is a lot of completely unstructured space,’ she adds. ‘Usually, when you ask people about their favourite moments of a holiday, it’s not about seeing a specific landmark – it’s about a feeling that they had when they were somewhere, perhaps an encounter with a local, or a sense of peace when swimming in the ocean. It’s those little sacred moments that we take away with us.
