This is the biggest XPS on the block, updated for 2023 with the latest Intel and Nvidia silicon. It’s hefty yet sleek, with slick reflective accents complementing the silver machined aluminium chassis. It sports the same eye-catching InfinityEdge design as smaller siblings such as the Dell XPS 13, and when you crack it open the thin bezels make its 17in display even more striking.

At 2.4kg, though, I recommend against trying to pick it up with one hand – I’ve done just that
