■ Fabric J: ¼yd
■ Fabric K: ¼yd
■ Fabric I (background): 3/8yd
■ Twelve (12) copies each of Templates 1–3 (four per block)

FINISHED SIZE

■ Block: 10in square (10½in square unfinished)
■ Quilt: 60in square

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are ¼in throughout, unless otherwise stated.■ Press seams open throughout,■ Press fabrics well before cutting.■ Press after sewing each seam.■ EPP = English Paper Piecing.■ RST = right sides together.■ A fat sixteenth is 9in x 11in.■ For EPP, you may want to use a slightly larger seam allowance (/8in) to make it easier to fold the fabric over the edges.■ If you pre-cut all your background squares at the start of the quilt, you can disregard step 1.■ The templates provided do not include seam allowances.■ Refer to the EPP tutorial on p84–85 of issue 123, or find it online at .
