Can I transfer my Handycam video to PC?
Q I have a 20-year-old Sony Handycam camcorder, but I can’t find the software to download the tapes I made with it via USB to my PC. Is there anything you can recommend?

Have you tried Sony’s extensive library of drivers, see screenshot below), covering nearly 300 devices? You don’t mention which Handycam model you have but, if it’s in the list, the solution may be simpler than you expect.
