Duchess urges people to get tested
SARAH Ferguson is recovering at home after undergoing surgery following her shock breast cancer diagnosis. The 63-year-old Duchess of York revealed last month that NHS staff picked up an abnormality during a routine mammogram and ordered further tests.
She was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer and doctors at London’s private King Edward VII hospital performed a single mastectomy.
Her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have been popping in to see her at Royal Lodge in Windsor, where she lives with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.
