When it comes to a career trajectory, Corisande’s was not an obvious one. ‘Twelve years ago, if you’d told me I would be selling and exhibiting ceramics, I would have laughed,’ she says. Before having children and moving back to her childhood home in Wales in 2004, she had been a documentary television producer and director. She was busy travelling on location, raising co-production money, writing proposals and editing scripts – afar cry from a potter’s craft at the wheel.
