Shaun Middleton from Shropshire has had a lifelong interest in tractors, especially Nuffield. This fascination, he says, was sparked in him from an early age through his grandad’s interest in them.
At 27, he feels he is still deemed a “young one” in the tractor world. He has, however, amassed a collection which includes a BMC mini with loader, two Nuffield 4/25s and a Leyland 245 sitting alongside the 3/45 in the Nuffield marque of tractors. There is also a 1961 Dexta, a 1961 990 Implematic, a 1951 Allis-Chalmers B and a 1952 TE-D20 with loader.
“Aside from the keen interest in the tractors themselves, he says, “it’s always nice to know what they’ve done and where they’ve come from, it’s especially nice to get local ones. With a lot of mine wearing Shropshire-derived registrations and a wealth of history of where they’ve come from.”
