THE MAXIMALS
NAME: OPTIMUS PRIMAL
DESIGNATION: Leader of the Maximals, a heroic beast faction of Transformers bots.
STOMPING GROUND: The jungles of Machu Picchu, Peru.
CONVERTS INTO: A 13-foot-tall metalic silverback gorilla, with fists the size of boulders.
GENERAL DEMEANOR: Optimus Primal’s wise green eyes have seen much sacrifice and reflect his gentle nature. But underneath them lies a storm of fury ready to be unleashed whenever it’s needed. So, you know, perhaps tread carefully.
ULTIMATE PURPOSE: Living on Earth disguised as beasts, Primal and his Maximals are ever vigilant, watchful for the return of an evil they have battled across galaxies, for eons.
COMBAT ABILITIES: When he converts into his thundering beast mode, his immensity is truly something to behold. A roar from Primal is enough to stop enemies in their tracks and a pound from his gigantic fists makes even the ground quake in fear.
TRIVIA: Optimus Primal likes giving a good speech almost as much as his Autobot counterpart, Optimus Prime. About the current state of the universe, Primal warns: “There is a darkness coming…”
THE MAXIMALS
NAME: CHEETOR
DESIGNATION: Maximal warrior.
STOMPING GROUND: At home in the jungle but fond of a vast desert plain to race across.
CONVERTS INTO: A cheetah the size of a small truck with a grace and athleticism that belies his bulk.
GENERAL DEMEANOR: Cheetor carries himself with the confidence of someone who knows danger can never catch him. Which is pretty much what happens when you mix the fastest animal on Earth with a massive extra-terrestrial Cybertronian.
ULTIMATE PURPOSE: Like all Maximals, Cheetor has played a key role in protecting the
