Call for podiatrists to help prevent amputations

“The research is clear: where you have a podiatrist in public medicine, your amputations drop by up to 65%.”

This is according to research done by Professor Joel Dave, head of Endocrinology at Groote Schuur Hospital, and podiatrist Sean Pincus.
