When teenager Tara’s grandmother dies, she has to go and live with the only family available: her father in Rotterdam. That puts the kibosh on plans for a break with her three mates, but they decide instead to join her in the Dutch city. What could go wrong? Plenty, as it turns out. Tara kills her father, they steal a large quantity of cocaine from her ruthless gangster uncle and before by German crime writer Zoran Drvenkar, who has described his book as “a road movie where a lot of bodies are left behind and those who survive will wish they could turn back time and start from the beginning”. Leah McNamara (, ) stars as Tara and brings a couple of her castmates along for the ride. Notably, we’re seeing this the night after it screens on Sky UK.
