Tell us about your journey to becoming a successful writer.
Growing up, I wasn't always interested in writing as much as I was in storytelling. I enjoyed listening to my family tell stories about a Trinidad long gone, about people and misadventures that might've otherwise been forgotten. video game series. Then, the TV-friendly adaptation of Stephen King's , which I saw when I was eight. I realised that a writer was at the heart of many things that had an impact on me, that writing is a limitless art and that I wanted to be a writer.
