The world of Little Golden Nook feels idyllic, cosy and full of love. The beauty of Sandra’s world is real – she really has a loving family, a creatively inspiring home and a love of outdoor stitching – but it’s only part of her story.

Sandra has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or ME/CFS, which causes extreme tiredness and inflammation – and completely changed the direction of the formeroptimism, Sandra found happiness by focusing not on what she can’t do but on what she can – and one of the things she can do, and do very well, is crochet.
