When you step into Adinda Zoutman’s world, you’re entering a playful realm of colour and creativity. The squishability factor is high, with 3D flowers, bobbles and pom-poms adorning every sumptuous surface of her crochet creations.
Orange and pink tulips emerge from polka-dot plant pots, while delicate pastel shawls are edged with bold blooms. Even practical items such as mittens and totes are turned into objets d’art, decorated with scarlet toadstools and characterful robins. “I love 3D crochet because it’s lively, striking and different. It’s certainly never boring!” she explains.
Adinda’s crochet journey began when she was only six yearsby watching them. With practice I could soon crochet dolls myself. They weren’t perfect, but I was happy with them. Eventually, all my Barbies wore crocheted shawls and sweaters.”
