TAKUMA KUJIRA II

For those who weren’t aware, the original (and latest) Kujira design is based on the pectoral fin of the humpback whale. Firstly, who originally came up with this concept?

It’s difficult to trace the origins of the concept, which draws inspiration from nature and biomimicry. This design can be found in various products such as windmills, paragliders, and sailing foil boats. At Takuma, the concept evolved through a lot of discussions with our R&D team
