Rylee Abbuhl had a bright smile and loved softball, hoping to be a professional player one day.

But in November 2019, Rylee’s mum, Lindsey Abbuhl, shared a tragic update on Facebook.

Announcing a fundraiser for Rylee’s medical costs, she wrote that her sweet daughter, then nine, had tested positive for leukaemia.

Concerned well-wishers offered donations.

A couple of months later, Lindsey posted about a bowling fundraiser, saying ongoing testing is needed to determine the cause of Rylee’s declining health.
