When asked how much his stunning, modified Mini City means to him, Chris Beschizza simply says: “Obsessed doesn’t come near it. I wouldn’t sell at any price as it was my last project with my dad, so it’s like one of my children.”
Chris has always been into cars and motorbikes. “My taste varies from classics of the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s and on to all Ferraris, American muscle cars and custom hot rods. I love them all.” Surprisingly then, Mini ownership didn’t figure in his life until a couple of years ago, even though he always appreciated them: “I admire everything about the Mini – its history and influence on the automotive world and just how fun they are to drive.”
Chris and his father, Len, talked often about doing a car or bike project together, and so in early 2021 Chris went to see his parents’ neighbour, Chris Wooden, a legendary name in the Mini scene, having owned The Mini Shop in Enfield
