Black Light Smoke: Ghosts

On his second album, „Ghosts,“ Black Light Smoke returns to his musical roots after a long break. Behind the project is the busy Chicago musician Jordan Lieb, who has already been awarded an Emmy for his film music, among other things. Producing the record was a big challenge for Jordan, who now tends to be more concerned with his family than clubbing late at night. Accordingly, he could not be inspired by modern trends. So it‘s not surprising that „Ghosts“ has a strong 90s flair, is influenced by the beginnings of House music in Chicago and is based on instruments like Roland‘s TR 727.
