Yamaha‘s CS01 mono synth from 1982 looks like a toy, but can score with a warm and powerful analog sound that has its very own character. BA-1 recreates this synthesizer with much love in detail and adds more features like polyphony. While the CS01 has only one VCO, BA-1 boasts two oscillators with selectable waveforms. The first oscillator masters Pulse Width Modulation, the second one offers white noise instead. We were especially pleased about the FM control for creating metallic timbres.
