Heavyocity Mosaic Bass

With the newest instrument in the Mosaic series, Heavyocity explores the field of tension between synth basses and organic timbres. Three layers can be combined to create multi-layered sounds. You can combine complete synthesizer sounds with sub-basses, organic attack sounds, drones and noises. A total of 110 different sound sources are included. There are almost 200 presets on board, including melodically playable patches, rhythmic textures and pads.

Mosaic Bass ‘well-designed user interface and intuitive sample browser are already familiar from previous parts of the series. Each of the three channels offers flexible customization options, with individual envelopes to control the sound, while the arpeggiators and macro sequencers add life. Even the effect parameters can be modulated. The macro control allows for impressive sound variations. Pulsating sequences are just as possible as cinematic arpeggios and complex pads and drones.

Verdict

Mosaic Bass not only inspires with expressively playable synth basses in excellent quality, but also with multi-faceted pads and leads as well as rhythmic textures with modern hybrid sound. The successful presets provide inspiration for film, game and trailer music, but also for other musical styles. The flexible options for combining, adjusting, modulating and effect editing
