“I had the verse and chorus riffs. I actually wrote the keyboard introduction. I had a Korg M1 synth that I was messing around with, when I was living in Wendover, near Aylesbury. I came up with the chords, which I thought were pretty good. And Mark played them and then I did the whole echoey guitar thing and we did the build-up with Ian on the drums.
