MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

LUCAS MILLER, 9-5-2 (3), won the vacant Australian light-heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over Renold Quinlan, 16-12 (11). Miller had to climb off the floor for his win, with all three judges scoring it 97-92. Quinlan, who has lost inside the distance against Chris Eubank Jnr and Joshua Buatsi here, failed to make the weight so could not win the title. A welterweight mismatch saw , 15-1-1 (8), score four knockdowns before his fight with Thai , 13-2 (5), was stopped in the second round.
