'Decorating this house helped me find my style'

For interiors influencer, Yasi Fatollahy, it’s all about colour palettes - from soft, sumptuous pinks and greens to inky, moody blacks and blues. Having found a home she loved in 2017, full of character and period features, she set about adding her own personality through paint, stripped floorboards and a little extra panelling, all of which she did herself. ‘As I moved in on my own, I was on a budget,’ says Yasi. ‘The previous owners had already done a lot of work, like plastering, adding a new kitchen, and fresh carpets. They’d also knocked down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. However, I wanted to bring it back to life, inject some colour, and really accentuate the original features.’
