MEET THE EXPERT
NINA GILL is a Stage 4 senior coach who set up Fancy Footwork Equestrian in 2019, through which she provides popular polework clinics, catering for people who want to jump as well as those who don't. Last December she launched the Polework Patterns app (available on the App Store or Google Play for £3.99) from which these exercises are taken. It boasts 40 polework layouts and 120 exercises that use between one and 20 poles. There are also 15 categories for horse improvement, from bend to rhythm and straightness.
