TELANGANA THE POWER HOUSE ILLUMINATING PROGRESS

Telangana’s progressive approach to the power sector sets an exemplary model for other states, contributing to India’s overall energy security and environmental sustainability.

These efforts have resulted in 24 hours of reliable power supply to all categories of consumers, including agriculture. Telangana enjoys the distinction of being the only State to supply 24 hours' free power to 27 .49 Lakh agriculture connections.

The per capita consumption in the State is kwh during 2014-15 and the All India average of 1255 Kwh in 2021-22.
