Since its inception in 2007, The Riverbed Agency has earned numerous accolades, and it has become the first female-owned agency to receive a Loeries Ranking. Monalisa Sibongile Zwambila, the owner and founder of South Africa’s premier black-owned and woman-owned agency, wears the title of 2022 Santam Woman of the Future proudly.
The awards ceremony was a significant occasion for her. ‘I felt privileged to be in the midst of so many amazing women and to meet the judges, whom I have always admired. I had such a strong feeling of acknowledgement and recognition–win or lose.’
