Do not adjust your eyes. There is a reason this car looks like a Volvo.

It’s called the Polestar 2 and is the offshoot of Chinese-owned Swedish brand Volvo. Polestar 2 is based on the same underpinnings as the Volvo XC40, and is made in China.

Its price largely overlaps Australia’s most popular electric car, the Tesla Model 3.
