1 Straight beat
First, we create a new DAW project with a typical tempo of 127 BPM. We construct the beat foundation from samples from LoopCloud [1] and UJAM Beatmaker Hype [2]. Now we add a bass to the beat. Load Zampler//RX and click on Load Bank. Then select the file „Zampler Analog Future.fxb“.
2 Offbeat bass
Then, load the preset . With this preset, the velocity influences the volume. In the sequence eighth note is emphasized. We amplify this effect with the Nicky Romero Kickstart 2 plug-in [3], which we load as an insert effect. Typical for Deadmau5 are his hypnotic sequences.
