THE Severn Valley Railway’s £1.5-million Survival Fund has passed the £315,000 mark – while further steps implemented to improve the line’s appeal to visitors while keeping operating costs in check have been implemented.
The railway reviewed its timetable in May and an extra steam-hauled train has been added to Timetable B on 56 selected days, beginning on May 27.
