THE BRINK BACK FROM

Chris Cousins was born in the village of Crowfield in Suffolk. When he was 11 years old, his parents moved the family to neighbouring Stonham Aspal where he still lives in a former tied cottage with his wife, Helen.

Chris had worked on AR Turnbull’s farm down the road on a full-time basis for 19 years and was looking for a tractor to do up in his retirement. “Have that one!” was the suggestion made on the 1968 International 434, which had been languishing in a barn for ten years.
