Scotland's former leader released after she was arrested and questioned by police

Nicola Sturgeon, the former First Minister of Scotland, was arrested Sunday amid an investigation by authorities into the finances of the governing, pro-independence Scottish National Party.

LONDON — Former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who dominated politics in Scotland for almost a decade, was arrested and questioned for several hours on Sunday by police investigating the finances of the governing, pro-independence Scottish National Party.
